ReAlSplice

ReAlSplice collects information on the splicing sites which will be "glued" together during the splicing event, on additional sites in the pre-mRNA which are regarded to influence alternative splicing and on factors involved in alternative splicing (i.e. splicing factors).

Thus, information about splicing factors can be obtained from the Splicing Factor Table, while information on additional sites influencing splicing may be found in the Accessory Table.
The donor (5') and acceptor (3') splice sites which are spliced together may be retrieved from the Event Table. It is important to note that splicing to a mature mRMA usually comprise multiple "events", some of which may NOT be regulated in tissue- or (and) development-specific manner and are therefore NOT contained in the database.
